SmartTherm PRO was developed in partnership with IMOCA winner Sam Goodchild, someone who knows better than most what a mid-layer needs to deliver in real conditions.

What makes it different
The key is in the construction. SmartTherm PRO uses Henri-Lloyd’s DRI PRO™ 2-layer technology with 100% recycled nylon ripstop fabric and a PFOA and PFC free hydrophilic PU membrane, delivering 20K waterproof protection without sacrificing breathability. VIVO Ocean insulation, laser-perforated for 30% greater breathability, adds targeted warmth exactly where the body needs it most and nowhere it doesn’t.
Glued seams keep the profile low and the flexibility high, while stretch panels and soft-touch linings mean you barely notice you’re wearing it, even after hours on deck. The slim, compact design fits easily under an outer shell without bunching or restricting movement.
Three pieces, one system
The SmartTherm PRO range consists of three pieces that work independently or together.
The Jacket is the most fully featured piece, with a YKK® AquaGuard® waterproof zip, inner wind guard flap, fleece-lined pockets, and an H-hanger on the back for secure storage. Reflective logos and strips ensure visibility in low light conditions, while stretch bindings at the hem and cuffs keep everything locked in place.
The Gilet offers the same body-mapped insulation in a sleeveless format, ideal as a standalone layer on deck or as part of a full system. Waterproof fabric and a YKK® AquaGuard® zip keep the core warm and dry, with zipped side pockets for hands and essentials.
The SmartTherm EVO Salopettes complete the system. Targeted insulation zones, Lycra shoulder panels, and softshell knee inserts make them remarkably easy to move in, while glued seams eliminate water entry and reduce bulk. Day or night, on deck or below, these are the kind of salopettes you reach for first.
